I am fortunate to have the honor of teaching jewelry design again this spring at the UC Berkeley Art Studio as well as my new course offering, Felting! Classes begin in February, 2010. To join my courses please visit the studio links below asuc
asucI now offer classes in jewelry design and needle felting in wool as well as gem and mineral identification at my art studio as well.
I also teach a series of courses in crystal channeling, metaphysical healing and how to craft ritual tools and incorporate them into reflective practices.
Classes can be arranged for individuals or groups. Group classes are limited to four participants in order for me to provide the intimate attention and instruction that I am committed to.
I enjoy working with people at whatever level of learning they are currently at.
Course series:
Beginning level class series for each subject run in two sessions.
Each class is 120 minutes. This allows for check in discussion about what kind of space you are in, your skill level and question and answer time. The fee for the series in its entirety is $135.00.
Within those classes we will review history, intent and practical application of the subject matter. I will provide some materials to get you started. In the jewelry class you will be able to take home some pieces of jewelry that we have designed together. In the meditation and channeling classes you will receive natural crystals and an herb filled pouch of your own creation.
If you choose to continue on in any area I will provide you with a suggested list of materials and assist you in locating them.
In my experiences I have found that everyone has different learning modalities. Please allow me the opportunity to help you find yours so that we can create a joyful, productive arts and crafting space!
